Today's journaling

I think I might actually turn this into a journal (perhaps more bullet-pointy and less rambly than some journals).
I might decide at some point to make these posts access-locked or even private; we'll see if I even keep it up for more than three days, and how it goes. In the meantime, I'll just say no advice, please and leave it at that.
First, health.
Today feels like it's a medium-good day in a sea of very bad days. I'm in minimal pain. I feel reasonably awake and alert (and before 10pm, too). I am not deeply depressed, wanting to die, or beating myself up at random things. I did cry several times at the concert today, which is unusual for me, but otherwise don't feel unusually emotional.
I may have developed a fungal infection under one or both of my arms. I'm going to talk to the pharmacist in the next couple of days about OTC solutions and also see if I can make baby steps towards making my diet more diabetes-friendly, as this sort of thing is usually triggered when my diabetes is not being well controlled. (I try, but I have been slipping often lately.)
My period started Friday. So far, flow is light-to-medium and I'm not experiencing abdominal pain. I expect this to change in the next couple of days.
In other news:
I managed to both shower AND leave the house today, which is quite impressive given how low my mood's been the past couple of weeks. Went to my dad's concert and felt genuinely inspired and moved by some of the music, which has made me want to play piano again. I got in about 45 mins of practice, and intend to practice again tomorrow. (I need to figure out how to sound all the notes in a chord at the same time. This is difficult!)
I have been playing quite a bit of WoW lately, both EU-side and US-side. I seem to be gravitating towards the Alliance, which is somewhat weird as I prefer Horde, but socially-driven (my favourite EU-side guild is Alliance, and all my US-side friends seem to be playing Alliance, too).
I think that is it for now.
