randomling: Buffy Summers (of Buffy the Vampire Slayer) wearing shades. (buffy shades)
(I'm trying to figure out what kind of music my characters liked as kids.)

I just came across the video for Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely and it may have slightly reactivated my popslash squee.

Briiiiiiian! :D

Hi guys!

I need some help. I'm putting together a web site for my fiction and including on it a few helpful fandom links, in case anyone stumbles across my site, likes the sound of popslash and wants to get started. (Unlikely to be helpful to anyone, but you know, just in case.)

I have some useful links, mostly thanks to [livejournal.com profile] popsoundboard being a resource of purest awesome. But what I'm really looking for is a page of really good Backstreet recs, preferably fairly mixed in terms of pairing and genre, that might get someone started in reading BSB fic. Mostly because my fiction is primarily of the 'N Sync persuasion and I want to be able to send BSB fans somewhere useful.

Can anyone suggest a good place for me to link to?

Thank you in advance!

I pointed out to my sister that Brian is always the one that dies in Backstreet Boys videos.

She said, "Brian is Kenny."

I can only say: ahahahahaha.

I was just talking to a colleague about being sleepy and full of squee because of the Backstreet Boys. And another colleague near us just said, "I preferred N'Sync. JC!"

And then we talked about PopOd and JC's solo music.

[livejournal.com profile] ephemera gave me my AJ ticket last night and I put it in my handbag and checked and double checked that it was there so I would have it tonight, because, AJ. And I checked my bag for my ticket this morning on the Tube and it wasn't there.

Now I'm hoping and praying that I just accidentally left it on the kitchen table when I turned out my bag this morning to get my jacket. If it's somehow got lost, or I dropped it on the way to the station, I'm going to be so incredibly fucking upset. I know it's only a concert and it won't kill me to not go, but, really. It would make me very very very very VERY sad.

And I'm now at work, and can't just nip home and check (2hr round trip, at least), so I'm going to be stressing and panicking about this all day.

In happier news, the Backstreet Boys are totally and utterly fabulous in every way. But AJ's solo song was so completely fucking awesome, that if I don't get to see him tonight I may actually cry.

ETA: Panic over. Thanks to the combined powers of [livejournal.com profile] adelate and [livejournal.com profile] iconis, I am informed my ticket is safe. Thank you both sooooo much! ♥ ♥ ♥
