Short version: In a year's time, I'll be quitting my job and moving to the seaside. All in the name of following this dream I've had for years to be a professional writer.

There's a lot of preparation to be done first. And I don't expect to do all the work required to be a professional writer in a year, or eighteen months; but what I really, really want is to give myself some time and space to do that. So I'm going to do this.

I've got a lot of planning to do over the next six months. A lot of stuff I want to learn and do before I leave London. But I'm going to do it.

This? Is going to be an interesting year.
