Random question.

So here's a silly question to help me avoid the writing I'm trying to do. (Two and a half more scenes, and my chapter is done. At which point I'll go to bed.)

I'm way behind on SPN. Like - my sister is a huge fan. She doesn't download, but watches it on British TV when it comes, which by the end of the season is usually only a few weeks late. Though, due to the weirdness of American TV seasons, that means we start very late, as British TV shows all the epsiodes consecutively. She's been showing me the first season on DVD and I've been slowly falling in love with the boys (they are kind of adorable); the last I saw was the first episode of S2.

I am not very spoiled for S2, apart from the handful of episodes I've already seen, which are really dotted about the place, I have no idea what order they're even in. I know that Sam is a... okay, I don't know exactly what Sam is, but I know it's Bad.

I am spoiled for the end of S3, because adelate was flailing so hard and I had to know why, and back then, I didn't really care.

So my question is this. I probably won't see S4 for quite some time, as I'm going to be obsessive now about seeing this show in order, and I have two whole seasons to catch up. Should I spoil myself? Or keep myself pure?

i am totally voting for pure. i kept myself unspoiled and then downloaded everything off the net and watched all three seasons, like, in three days. it was awesome. i think season 4 will lose a lot of its impact if you spoil yourself, especially if you're obsessive about seeing the show in order (which you should be!!!)

Isn't it awesome what a meme can do? Since without it we wouldn't have had the question about when Sam and Dean would break up/part ways which finally got you watching. ;)

[beams] I am quite a way away from throwing myself wholeheartedly into the fandom? Pop is so enough for me! But I have been loving the show.

I think you're right, I need to keep avoiding the S4 spoilers that are EVERYWHERE on my flist. (EVERYWHERE, Nat!) And possibly get onto downloading the rest of S2 and watching it. Because... OMG their dad just died and.... Dean!

AND I KNOW, I KNOW IT'S HARD! the day of the s4 premiere i barred myself from my flist till i had downloaded the episode and watched it! the whole time i was all: *twitches uncomfortably*

and OMG S1 FINALE. S2 PREMIERE! it is still two of my favourite eps of ALL time! i can't wait till you see all of it!

And I may have read a couple of fics. Just a couple. 'Cause they popped up on my flist, you know. (I have NOT read any of the stuff that's cropped up since 4x01, 'cause that would be annoying, reading the fic before I saw the ep.)

Er, anyway. Yes. [twitch] I may have to download. And like, bribe myself, an hour of writing, an hour of SPN - I must finish this book!

and dude. duuuuuuuuuude. once you are done with bittybang and spn, you need to sit down and, like, go through spn_j2_bigbang from entry numero uno. it is so fantastic and will also get you hooked on j2, for srs.

this is VERY GOOD INCENTIVE to finish your book (which you are more than half your way to doing! \o/!!!!!) also, YOUR SPN SQUEE! IT MAKES ME GIDDY. <3333333333

Hi, I so don't! I make my own or then someone recs some icon post, I have no icon comms or icon makers that I go to for new stuff. :D

abouttwoboys also has awesome fic (it's J2 and SPN movie fusions) and I personally loved the harlequin challenge. :D And yes, the Big Bang... so much awesome!
