I'm not dead!

Just very, very quiet.

So have some things:

1. I've been using Habit RPG for about a month and a half and I think it's really helping me get shit done. Currently wondering if anyone out there uses it and wants to be in a party with me - I'm battling a boss at the moment, but I have a quest waiting in the wings for afterwards.

2. Work continues. I'm mostly making my daily and weekly targets, which is great, but I'm having serious nerves about farming myself on places like Elance to find clients I don't know. However, that won't be this month, anyway - I have enough from Existing Client and enough backend work setting up Elance, etc, that I can keep hitting targets for the time being without that.

3. I'm reading again! I should start posting book reviews or thoughts on books or something, if I can find the time and brain for regular posts. But I just recently found an excellent M/M fantasy series that is delighting me. And now I'm reading about 50s vampires in Cleveland.

Three things make a post, right? Right.

I sent my HabitRPG character to rest in the inn at the start of the month and just haven't bothered waking them up, and my productivity has taken a noticeable downturn the past couple weeks. I suspect these of being related issues. (I do not want to be in a party with anyone but me, though.)

Fair enough, re: party! Yeah, I've been finding it really helpful, and I'm noticing that deactivating dailies (or giving myself a To-Do called "Survive!") are useful when I'm having bad days, because otherwise I get overwhelmed easily when my depression has an uptick or I'm physically ill. (Or having a period.)

I've been using HabitRPG for... a while now (I don't remember, but I'm level 40. It's been good for helping me get chores and self-care stuff done, although I sort of have trouble identifying things I can actually get myself to do on a daily basis. I'd be happy to party up, though - at the moment I am a party of one.

What fantasy novels, out of curiosity?

Yay! I too am a party of one. Shall I PM you or contact you some other way when I've murdered the current boss? (At this rate it's gonna be... at least another 5-6 days.)

The M/M fantasy is The Magpie Lord by KJ Charles (that's a Goodreads link). I also really enjoyed Between Two Thorns by Emma Newman, which has creepy fae and all sorts of wonderfulness.

I use habitPRG. Just at the moment I'm not necessarily getting all my dailies done though because of crises with my parents and a lot of rushing around the country. I can't remember if other party members take damage if I don't do dailies or if its just me.

Anyway, I'd be happy team up - tired of my party of one. I'm not sure how one links up with people though.

(Other party members do take damage when you miss a daily, but only if you're fighting a boss, and I can currently afford health potions if I need them!)
