randomlingI approve of the self-parody stuff (I always loved those episodes of The X-Files!) and in fact the part of the episode that is a direct parody of The X-Files, complete with alien abduction. In fact this episode owes a lot to the comedy episodes of that show, complete with differing versions of the story, twisted versions of the main characters as seen through each others' eyes, and substitute words.
One weirdness though. Dean classifies an animal-testing research scientist as "a dick"? Really? That's a lot more warm and fluffy than I would have counted on for our Dean, I have to say. But there you go!
Ahaha. Nice ending!
