I really wanted to hit 34k last night, but then I started seeing spots and had to go to bed, because it's hard to write when you can't see. Gah.

"Almost 3k" isn't a bad day's progress, though.

Thank you very much! And I'm writing again today. Although it's going very slow and it's got to the point where, because it's the middle, I'm not sure it's terribly dramatic?

I think it's one of those stories where whole bunches of boring stuff may have to be cut ruthlessly after the first draft is done. And that's probably okay.

hee! d'awww, lucy! i am more than happy to cheerlead for such an awesome cause! besides, i think we all tend to feel that way about long stories - although i'm not drawing from a whole wealth of experience here - and you might end up not cutting as much as you think after all! but go you for getting somewhere close to the middle! <3

I know! Assuming that my wordcount is what I originally thought - which, probably not, but hey - I'll be at the "halfway mark" in about 6,000 words (now just shy of 34k - yay scenes moving fast 'cause they have Chris in). So that's exciting!

Who knows what I will do when it's done? I already have some ideas what and how I'm going to edit, but I'm not doing it yet. There's a List.

Lists are good. :D
