All about me, part the first.

So thanks to a combination of the friending meme over on Dreamwidth, Inception and Sherlock, I have a handful of new friends/readers who don't necessarily know much about me.

This is going to be a bit rambling and random because I'm not sure what you guys might/might not want to know about me. So here's a few facts to get you started.

I'm a British woman, 30 years old, living in South London with my parents. (There was a little while there where I was living away from my parents and kinda-sorta coping, but after the whole nervous breakdown thing, I moved back here. I'm currently working on getting back on my feet.)

I'm fannish. There should probably be a whole separate post in which I talk about the multitude of things I'm fannish about, but for now: yes, I'm fannish. I'm a bit of a fandom butterfly and I like it that way. I love being pimped into new things and broadening my horizons and gaining new obsessions.

I'm a geek. I love video games and sci-fi movies and Star Trek and Doctor Who and all that jazz. (I also love jazz. And old-school Broadway musicals. And rock and roll. And music, generally.)

I'm a feminist. That has so many definitions, and it's so personal that I'm probably not going to ramble on here about what that means to me (maybe that's fodder for a whole other post).

I'm queer too, and interested in gay rights.

I'm a writer, though the muses seem to periodically desert me. I'm trying to work up some enthusiasm for more original writing but the fanfic seems to be drawing me back in right now.
