A thing I am looking for.

You all may notice that my current default icon is of a wombat in a hat.

I love this icon. I've had it for almost seven years now. It's been my online "face" for those who don't know the real me for a very, very long time, and I don't want to stop being Wombat Girl/Wombat Lady/Wombat Goddess/Your Wombatness/whatever wombat-like nickname you want to give me. That would be weird. And sad!

But it's small for the LJ/DW size requirements and therefore looks a bit strange on here. So... I'm wondering where I might find more wombat icons. LJ searches have never really got me anywhere and Google isn't much help either.

I'm also looking for a few more general, non-fandom-ish icons, and have not much idea where to start.

Any ideas, oh peoples?

Find some pics of wombats that you really like and I can try to do a couple of icons for you perhaps?

Can't help with the wombat icons, unfortunately. Did a Google search, but all I could come up with was of a band.

But you can find general icons at comms like 100x100stock or simplystock.

Yeah, The Wombats are rather cool (they live up to their name! Wombats = awesome) but not quite what I'm looking for...

I didn't find any wombats in hats, but I did find a Wombats Next 5 Miles warning sign. (I'll also happily make icons if you have any specific pics you want icon'ing.)

A lot of my icons came from jillicons and girlyb_icons, so you could try those...?

Oh, thank you! I actually used to have that pic on my bedroom door! (My sister brought it back for me from Australia.) And I may take you up on the iconning offer, than you so much! :D

I can never decide what to get icons OF. I know I want some, know that what I want is general icons that are 'me' and then have no idea what that means! so frustrating. Perhaps a poll at camp sparkle? lol
