Not that it matters any more...
Oct. 17th, 2008 09:42 pmNot that I am caring about word count goals for "The Plan" any more - it's not for a challenge, so I am writing at my leisure, and intending to edit even more so - but I have picked up the threads of the novel and am plugging on with it.
So I'm not sure what the final "first draft word count" will turn out to be, but 140k seems reasonable given that I wrote almost 70k on Part One. I have quite a lot of plot still to get through and am revelling in the fact that I can take my time now to get through it. Wahoo!
ETA:
I am impressed with my ouput for today!
I am also trying to figure out which challenges I can take part in next year. I don't want to overload myself, so my desire, which is "all of them!", is going to have to be moderated by common sense. Especially since I am running a challenge next year.
So I'm saying right now, please don't be offended if I don't take part in your challenge next year! I love challenges, but probably can't do everything, at least not if I want to have a week or two next year to devote to my own projects...
