I think it's time to quit LJ
Aug. 20th, 2012 11:28 pmYou guys, I'm not going to be cross-posting to LJ any more.
I've grabbed a couple of RSS feeds to the public journals that I really want to keep up with. I'm going to miss those of you who I don't have the opportunity to read elsewhere. But LJ has reached the point where I don't want to be giving them the validation of my clicks any more - especially when I have, and volunteer for, such an awesome alternative.
I'm very happy here at Dreamwidth and you can find me there under the same username,
randomling. The vast majority of my entries are public, so you're more than welcome to follow my DW via RSS if you don't have an account or don't want one.
If you do want an account, DW currently doesn't have an invite system, so you can roll up and make a free account any time you like. I should also point out that we also have a number of attractive paid options, should you be interested in additional features like extra icons, enchanced search ability, or domain name forwarding.
Alternatively, you can always ping me on Twitter at
lucythewombat or email me at randomling at gmail.
Goodbye, Livejournal!
