I love Justin's voice.

Okay, so the R&B stuff mostly doesn't do a damn thing for me. I know I like N'Sync and it's a damn strange thing that I don't like Justin's solo stuff in general, but - honestly - I don't. I'm sorry. I love Cry Me A River, but that's about it.

Except!

Why did nobody tell me about (Another Song) All Over Again? Which. OMG. Justin singing something that sounds a lot like proper classic blues and running all over the scale and ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥!

God, this is going on the playlist that's mostly reserved for Ella and Louis (ETA - and Eva, duh). I love Justin's voice. I love songs that are designed to show it off, which are fucking few and far between. And I love that bluesy sound. Love love LOVE. I'm a fan of Gone, which has stunningly gorgeous instrumentation and Justin's beautiful voice, and while it's really a Justin song which criminally uses the other N'Sync boys as backup singers, it's still a wonderful song.

Wow.

One of those things where like I said - mostly his solo music doesn't do much for me at all, but every now and then he hits my buttons with a mallet and I become a flailing squeeing fangirl. JUJU OMG YAY.

I wish there were more songs like it! It's - just - mmm. I do love his voice, and when he actually uses it and sings in a style I like, it's just plain gorgeous.

Ahahaha. I haven't actually ever listened to FS/LS all the way through, but that song scares me. And fills my head with scary images of Justin being whipped by Timbaland, which - DO NOT WANT. Eek!

But, generally I'm not that crazy about Justin's solo music. There are a few songs of Pure Awesome, though!

Um. . .ok yes, that image is horrifying and would ruin that song for anyone I think. Unless you're a Land O' Lakes fan. But do those people even exist?

I pretty much love the entire album, even Chop Me Up, which is like this pseudo gangsta rap hip/hop track or something. I'm not sure what the hell it's supposed to be but I like it. I also like A*Teens so my musical taste is pretty much questionable at best.

And yes. The image disturbs me and I can't listen to that song and not think about it and EW. (I like to think of the pairing as "Lakeland", which is a kitchen supply store over here. I'm easily amused!)

Chop Me Up is actually quite fun, and one of the few I've heard off the album. It's ever so cheesy, but it amuses me (again with the easily amused) and Justin's voice is sort of pretty.

And I'm sure you're right! I don't know, I am crazy when it comes to Justin. Like, I haven't heard a lot of his music because I know I won't like it and I'm sort of... superstitious about not liking his music? [sigh] I like HIM, but not the songs he produces. And I don't like that.

How did you not KNOW about Another Song?? He always ended the encore with it at his live shows. Amazing. When I first heard it, I wished someone else were singing it (because I generally find Justin's voice to be annoying, sigh) but now I like to pretend it is his Sooper Seekrit JuC Anthem.

I fail at canon? No, really, I do. And I am sort of allergic to solo!Justin generally, because his music taste and mine are WORLDS apart most of the time. The stuff he wants to sing, I do not want to listen to...

I love Justin's voice. So much. I don't know why, because the whole "adenoidal goat" seems to annoy a lot of people, but I think it's fucking gorgeous. Then again, I'm a Thom Yorke/Radiohead fan, so I'm primed towards liking high-pitched nasal male voices anyway.

I like Justin's voice on dance songs, fast songs. HATE him singing ballads. Listening to him trying to sing TIPY is so painful for me :P

I'm not that crazy about TIPY either. Not because of any of the vocals, which are okay, but because it's sappy-boyband-ballad par excellence, and, ugh.

I love TIPY live. Well, I love it in PopOd and Atlantis, because I love the little harmony section they added in after the bridge. And I love watching JC sing it, because he gets SO into it and he closes his eyes and I think it's adorable. If I could have a JC's lead-only version, that would be perfect.

Mm, I like the a cappella bits in the live version, too. But that's the only bit of it I like! :P

(And. I stand by Justin's voice. :D)

It's a great package of slow and fast...I think that's why it appeals to me.

Hm. I like Love Stoned but not as much as All Over Again, which just pushes each and every one of my buttons a lot. Mmm, the bluuuuuuues. ♥

I prefer JC's too. But JC is quirky and I love that. I hate Sexy Back - though I get that it's catchy. I thought it was going to ruin Justin's career. I was wrong.

JC is awesome. I love Schizophrenic, one of my go-to feel good albums.

I hate Sexyback too, mostly because of the scary mental images it gives me. And the fact that it sounds awful. Not my thing at ALL. But yes, I too can see if it's catchy. If you like that sort of thing (I sound like an old lady, ahaha).

Yeah, I don't get Sexy Back (and refuse to type it as one word). It's not my thing either, and I was shocked beyond belief when it did as well as it did. I really hope Justin has jumped off the Timbaland train for a different sound on the next CD.

[shakes head] That song. People like the strangest things. I too hope Justin does something non-Timbalandy with the next CD, maybe I'll have a fighting change of enjoying it! ...Although, the music he wants to write seems to rarely coincide with the music I like listening to.

JC's voice is one of the most incredible things ever. (I seem to be in the minority thinking Justin's voice is beautiful, but I fell in love with Thom Yorke's voice at a formative age and have never looked back when it comes to high-pitched nasal male voices.) But - yes - JC. He has such range and power and passion in his voice, it's amazing. He's incredible. And I love the music he is interested in writing, so that works so much better for me! :D

I actually really like Justin's voice when he sings within his range and doesn't try to do falsetto. And when I saw him in concert, he was unbelievably good that night.

Seeing JC was like watching electricity run a city. He was such a ball of energy and still, sounded amazing on top of all the running around. Recording always does such a great job of capturing his power and passion though.

Yes! Justin singing within his range is a thing of rare beauty. Then again, I like the falsetto too (again with the formative Thom Yorke love). So I'm just a freak. :P

I. Oh, I'm so jealous. My dream is to see JC live. Well - my actual dream is to see N'Sync reformed, touring the UK, and playing the stadium that's 30 minutes from my house. But seeing JC solo would rock, too. Sadly, I doubt either of them's going to happen in the near future.

Hee! I hated Justified (apart from CMAR which is a genious song, though still not my style) but love most of FSLS, even the title track. :) What Goes Around is probably my favourite.

Also, Justin has a *gorgeous* voice live. I was really surprised!

phaballa did an "essential Justin" mix for me a while back, and I have that, plus CMAR, which - although it's not my usual thing either? Is just made of pure awesome. Don't know quite why. Haven't yet found another Justified track that I can listen to all the way through. People keep telling me to listen to "Like I Love You" for the humour in the lyrics and all I can ever do is go "OMG MY EARS NO".

I like the FSLS track, and My Love, and What Goes Around, and All Over Again, and... yes. I can't be doing with Sexyback, because, a) NO, and b) scary mental images!

I could send you zips? Though you won't be missing anything on Justified. :D
