Amazon FAIL.

I am, oh my God, so angry at Amazon right now. Here's the Publishers Weekly article all about it. Basically: they have removed all "adult" titles from their sales rankings. That's not just erotica, but anything with any queer content at all.

They say it's a glitch. I would like to believe them, but they're clearly lying - they wrote emails about this. Someone, somewhere, made a policy decision. It's insane. And it's happened on the UK site, too, in breach of anti-discrimination law.

I'm so angry!

I won't be buying from Amazon again, is the upshot. In fact they are just about to get removed from my bookmarks. I guess Play, Borders, John Lewis, and online second-hand bookshops are getting my business from now on. Because this sucks.

And at some point I should really make a post on my writing blog about why.

Yay for finding new people on Dreamwidth and having them be smart and cool! Clearly DW is made of win. As is the dreamchasers comm from which I am stealing new friends all the time.

It's Jordan Castillo Price's birthday today and she's giving away her first Psycops novel, Among The Living, for free. I haven't read it yet, but have been wanting to try it for ever as my housemate ephemera recommends it to the stars. I have already downloaded and will be most interested to read it!
