Logic failure!

People, I need some help - I'm trying to work out a way for someone to trap somebody else in a bedroom that probably doesn't have a lock on the door. Although if people guess or know that there were locks on the bedroom doors in the Communal Nsync House in Orlando, then that would be fine.

Otherwise, I need a way to trap two people in a bedroom, from the outside, that doesn't require a great deal of effort, training or special equipment. Bedroom doors usually open inwards, so the chair-under-the-door-handle trick won't work.

If you're interested, this is because we tested the Make The Yuletide Gay site over the weekend, and because we are crazy, we all wrote real stories for each other instead of just typing in random text to see if it worked! Mine is OK, but contains a Huge Logical Flaw with regard to my main characters being trapped in a room, and I would like to remedy this somehow before I post it!

Thanks, everyone. :)

taking some rope and tieing it from one bedroom door handle to another? LOL I saw it on an episode of Full House... this kid Rusty did it and trapped four people in two rooms...

I'm thinking there must be some way to do this with a bungie cord or two. Seems like the sort of practical joke my dad would have tried on us. Or something that happens in college dorms.

If it was like a dorm with another room directly across the hall, what I would try to do is attach a cord/belt/rope to both door knobs. So the door wouldn't really be locked, but it couldn't be opened more than an inch?
