Hello! My name is on my journal, so I might as well say: hi, I’m Lee. I live in London. I’m a queer/ace trans man (ish). I’m autistic, ADHD and disabled. My main contribution to fandom, historically at least, is writing, and my main other hobbies are gaming, coding and music - I sing and play piano, and am considering taking up the tenor saxophone. I also knit a little, though it’s hard on my wrists so not as much as I used to!
My main fandom/obsession/lifestyle at the moment is Final Fantasy XIV, which is the current MMO. (There was also FFXI, which I played for a while, but not in a very long time.) I also love Doctor Who, DS9, Murderbot, Dirk Gently, Good Omens, and a whole bunch of other things. I used to be pretty active in a boyband RPF fandom.
I think that’s more or less me!

I have arthritis in my hands which limits my hobbies, too, including writing here. I took up painting and drawing during the pandemic which isn't as hard on the joints as typing and fiber arts.

Thanks! I did add them. (Sorry for the delayed reply!)
I'm lucky enough not to have arthritis (at least not yet), just mild RSI-type issues, but my wrists do complain about knitting a lot. It doesn't help that I write, code, game, and play piano, all of which require quite a lot of hand dexterity!
I am the world's worst visual artist, but every now and then I have the urge to see what I might be able to learn. Do you have any resources you might suggest for someone who is Terrible?

By the way. No residency requirements.

Aww, thanks! <3
Hello!
I have a diverse audience along those lines.
>> My main contribution to fandom, historically at least, is writing,<<
Cool. I do a lot of writing too, fannish and original.
>> and my main other hobbies are gaming, <<
I like gaming and game design, mostly tabletop.
>> coding <<
I support the FujoVerse empowering people to make their own online venues.
>> and music - I sing and play piano, and am considering taking up the tenor saxophone.<<
Tenor sax is an excellent choice, a versatile instrument useful in many styles of music.
>> I also knit a little, though it’s hard on my wrists so not as much as I used to! <<
Have you explored adaptive knitting options? People have found many ways to alter the motions to accommodate different disabilities. There are adaptive tools too.
