I have signed up for queer_bigbang. I've already started my fic - it's Heroes (I just finished watching the show), Peter/Sylar, and quite intensely strange. But I can promise you I won't be writing Peter as a weepy uke, because no.

I also seem to have joined roughly a billion fandom and fic comms in the past few weeks. However it doesn't look like any of them is about to eat my reading page, which is a good sign.

Random crossovers that are populating my brain right now.

My brain really likes inventing crossovers for some reason.

I decided I would throw out some of the ideas that are in my brain:

The three "old" ones are Farscape/popslash, Doctor Who/popslash and Inception/Warehouse 13.

Also:

Farscape/Eureka.
Farscape/Doctor Who.
Doctor Who/Once Upon A Time.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer/How I Met Your Mother.
Firefly/BSG.
How I Met Your Mother/The Big Bang Theory.

I am (probably!) not going to write any of these, but they are sort of fun to make up scenes for in my head.

I don't know why I am making this post, but there you are - they are kind of fun to think about! I want to keep spoilers out of the main post, mostly 'cause I am currently introducing tims to Farscape, but I'm happy to expand on the ideas themselves in the comments! So if you want to ask, ask. [grin]

So now I'm done watching Dollhouse, maybe I can actually update here for once.

Here, have some bullet points. (Can't be bothered to actually code them. But never mind.)

I went to an awesome stitch-and-bitch/fannish gathering yesterday and had a great time.

Then I came home, watched loads of Dollhouse, and threw up at about 3.30am. Still feeling bit icky and nauseous. Ew. Not sure what is going on but I do not like it.

I cried and cried and cried over the last episode of Dollhouse. Bloody hell, Joss. Now I need something to cheer me up, stat. (I'm thinking an episode of Leverage while I work on getting the latest episode of The Big Bang Theory. Give me comedy! (edit - no TBBT this week, apparently))

My review at the volunteering job went pretty well and I am going to be laying about me when I get back there. We'll see whether or not I'm able to do that tomorrow, depending on how I feel. But I'm looking forward to leaping in there.

I learned something about myself and the containers I make for myself this week. Might write something about it on the blog later on. It's interesting and useful how paying attention to these things makes it easier to know what's happening with me.

Fandom rocks, that is all. And so does Joseph Gordon-Levitt, but you guys probably already know I have a ridiculous crush on him right now.

I need to write! And I am completely stumped. So my plan is to trawl the kinkmemes of the world and look for something to inspire me.

Except I don't really know where the kinkmemes live.

Anyone have links? Doctor Who, Whedonverse, small fandom or multi-fandom memes would be awesome.

(I know about the popslash fic requests comm - but I'm kind of not finding anything there to inspire me just now. :()

Or you could just prompt me?

Hello, lovely people!

I am trying to jumpstart my muses.

A thing that has worked for me in the past is to ask for prompts and write ficlets in return. Seems to get the juices flowing. And I have a new fandom (Sherloooock!) and that's kind of enormous fun, but I can't seem to get writing. Thinking, yes. Writing, no.

So I'm not going to restrict this to just Sherlock, because I'm not sure how Sherlock-enabled my readers are in general. But I'm going to include Sherlock, and I'd like at least one Sherlock prompt at some point! But if you want another fandom, go for it.
