So far, I've been okay with the thematic thread of the show - I like how they didn't let Dean wriggle out of his deal and I really the disconnect between how the guys think of themselves and each other, and how they really are (on the outside, Dean is the hard and cold one, but he chokes when it comes to the really hard decisions; Sam looks fluffy and sweet and adorable, but he's the one with the inner toughness to fight the war, even if he won't like a second of it).
And then it took a really sharp left turn and introduced Castiel, which, yes. I'm interested in how S4 will pan out.
