It's been so muggy, I've had no energy. So I managed to read the intro and that was it.

JC is definitely Jane. Justin the crazy wife. I'm thinking I might want to set it ahead in time or give it some other setting.

And then I started thinking about how I'd remix Terri's Like It Says on the Can and, good lord, I should be working on my JuC fic and not distracting myself with more ideas!

Well, I was just thinking how some post-apocalyptic/futuristic stuff has a similar slightly old, slighty exotic and foreign feel to it. And thinking, that might work better for me than trying to warp the guys back to early Victorian era? Like, I'd like to go all lush and atmospheric with it, but I might end up copying too much of the novel if I tried for the same time-period?

Also, not quite sure I want to kill Justin off. I think... maybe he shouldn't be quite as crazy and he should run away with another man... maybe...

Oh, fuck, yes. I love that kind of futuristic setting. (Mmm, Firefly.) It could be just as atmospheric, but like, totally different from the feel of the original novel, and hell, woman, you would do it so brilliantly.

I still need to figure out which of the many bunnies I'll write for bittybang. I mean, there's the ones I mentioned in my poll a while back (dragons, Lambs angst, Beauty Queen, AJ/Nick and Joey/Nick) and then there's also:

-No Strings (in which Chris and Justin fail at casual sex)

-Possibly several others
