I run my two main journals by using Opera for one and Firefox for the other, which means I can stay logged in to both at the same time. That saves confusion and stops me accidentally posting with the wrong name too much. (Actually, I've banned each of my usernames from commenting in the other LJ, which definitely helps cut down on accidental commenting with the wrong name.)
