Layouts are funky and all, but the pressure of finding "the perfect layout" is too much.

After ages looking for the right theme and then looking for the right palette to flesh it out, I ended up just picking a vaguely inoffensive theme and sticking with the default colours. I am not good at making things pretty.

(I hope no one was looking at the journal while I was trying to redesign. If so, I'm sorry for your eyes.)

I know the feeling of settling for a layout instead of having the perfect one. There is usually a week between deciding to change my layout and finally getting around to tweaking it the way I prefer. That week is always twitchy and unsettling. (I'm tiring of my current layout, but I don't have a new fruit or theme in mind, either...)

I really like your journal's layout!

And... yeah, I changed my layout again twice since I made this post. Twitchy is right! I really like Modular, actually, I just haven't figured out what palette I want to use for it. And how to set up the modules and links and everything in a way I like.

Also I have to sort out my tags (eep - I imported 3 journals from LJ into this one so it's a MESS).

Sooo yes.
